Mushroom Cultivation Workshop

Mushroom workshop

Learn about the fun and easy art of cultivating edible mushrooms. Participants will receive their own jar of oyster mushroom spawn and a detailed handout. Oyster mushrooms look, smell, and taste somewhat like oysters. They have virtually no stalk and the oyster-shaped caps usually grow in layers on dead deciduous wood, like clusters of oysters. The moist, hairless, fragrant, white to light gray caps are generally 2-8 inches wide.
