Paying it Forward

Many of you know of us as just a retail store front. A year round farmers market where you can purchase fresh , locally grown food for your family. While this is all true, we can’t stop at just that. Everyone should have access to the best food available. That’s why it is

important that we build relationships with others in our community that place importance on healthy food accessibility for all. Over the past year, we have partnered with Facing Hunger Foodbank to distribute fresh, locally grown food to underserved communities. Recently, we were able to aggregate food for a Mobile Food Pantry in Logan, WV. With the help of Marshall University Circle K Internatonal students, we were able to assemble 150 CSA bags full of fresh produce in a little over an hour. What a great community we live in! I am truly thankful to have the opportunity to work with so many dedicated individuals. This is our community. We can all work together to improve the overall health in Huntington and our surrounding area.
