Our Story
June 12th, 2012
A group of community members came together for a common purpose: address the need for better quality food choices locally and support fledging farms in our area.
July 12, 2012
The Wild Ramp opened its doors in downtown Huntington’s Heritage Station.
2014
The Wild Ramp quickly outgrew its space at Heritage Station. We underestimated the demand for a year round farmers market. Huntington city officials were looking for an anchor business to help revitalize the West end area and it was a perfect match. We made the move in 2014 and we've continued to grow ever since.
2019
The Harvest Kitchen was added to the market.
2020
For the safety of our staff, our community and producers, we decided to close our doors for a short time during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. We had to come up with a way to support our farmers and provide access to local food to our customers. We took orders over the phone and offered curbside pickup.
2022
The Online Food Hub launched.
